It’s only a week since the launch of the much anticipated Xiaomi Mi A2 but developers are already up to their tricks. One of the biggest improvements compared to the Mi A1, albeit on paper, is the introduction of a new secondary camera with a 20MP lens to partner the primary shooter on the back. This same lens is also used on the front-facing camera, wholesomely making up for what seems like a great photography setup.

For those who envy the Mi A2 camera setup and all of its software prowess and currently own a Redmi Note 5 (global) or Redmi Note 5 Pro (India) with the codename whyred, there’s some interesting stuff for you. As of this writing, you can already download the Mi A2 camera app and use it on your phone on a custom ROM.
