Poco F1 stable MIUI 9 update 9.6.22 adds face unlock and fixes issues with app launch

POCO F1 update

A new stable software update is now available for Xiaomi Poco F1 users. Still based on MIUI 9, the update is identified as 9.6.22 and is aimed at fixing various bugs with the device, while also added Face Unlock for some countries. FYI, MIUI 10 for Poco F1 is also available as a beta ROM.

Xiaomi’s Poco F1 was launched to stir-up the smartphone market once again, similar to how OnePlus did that back then with the OnePlus One, offering the best flagship specs available at the time at a price that no other manufacturer could.

Xiaomu’s Poco F1 is probably the best device you could pick up for Rs. 21,000 ($300) price bracket, or even the Rs. 25,000 ($350). If you managed to grab the Poco F1 for yourself, Xiaomi has just rolled out an update for the Poco F1. Let’s see what’s new.
