Periscope Android app update adds support for Maps and 32 international languages

The Periscope app for Android has received a new update and users are going to like it. The update adds support for Maps and 32 international languages. Periscope is a live streaming app that is owned by Twitter.

With the new update, Android users can now view all the live scopes happening around the world on the map. This feature is only available on mobile devices that support Google Play services. The app also supports 32 new international languages, including right-to-left ones.

Users of the app will now be able to see who has shared a broadcast with them on the main page. Apart from these new features, the developers have also fixed bugs and improved video stability while broadcasting.

The update isn’t live everywhere yet, but should be available in a few days. If you already have the app installed, you’ll be notified about the update or you could check manually via the Play Store. Do you use Periscope? What do you think of the new features?
