Paranoid Android Alpha builds get the CardStackView recent apps screen like Android L

Ever since the limited release of Android L developer preview for selected Nexus devices we’ve been hunting everywhere for Android L stuff that can be installed/used on KitKat and JellyBean running devices. We already have the Android L keyboard, Boot Animation and other stuff for you try on your current Android device. However, advanced features like the stacked notifications and recent apps screen haven’t been available until now. Thanks to the awesome folks over at Paranoid Android for at-least bringing the stacked card-view style recent apps screen to their latest KitKat based Alpha release.

The CardStackView redesign of the recent apps screen on the latest Paranoid Android alpha release looks very close to that of Android L, the animations are smooth too. However, it’s only a visual treat of the Android L recent apps screen, it won’t show you the opened tabs in your Chrome on recents screen like Android L does. Check out the video below to see it in action:

The Paranoid Android alpha releases are only available for Nexus devices, you can grab the latest for your Nexus device from paranoidandroid.co/alpha and install it like you install any other AOSP ROM.
