OnePlus today announced it has started to push out OxygenOS 9.0.6 OTA for the newly released OnePlus 6T model.
According to the changelog, the new build brings some system upgrades including improved unlocking experience and optimized standby power consumption.
The company has also fixed issues with adding APN on the Verizon network and resolved the problem associated with Play Store notifications not showing. The camera also gets optimized image processing in this update.
If you’ve already checked your OnePlus 6T and the notification to update hasn’t shown up don’t worry. OnePlus explains that the OTA has a staged rollout. This means the new build will be going out to a limited number of users. If everything goes well, the OTA will be pushed to a wider audience. So keep checking your phone. Hopefully, you too will get the update soon.
