OnePlus 6 has been around for less than a month but the handset is already receiving a second software update that bumps up OxygenOS to version 5.1.6. Although an incremental upgrade, the latest rollout has quite a lot up its sleeve.

The most notable addition is the support for portrait mode on the front camera alongside some improvements to the portrait mode on the rear camera. The update also adds battery percentage in the status bar, which can be seen as a minor update, but it’s actually huge.

After the update, OnePlus 6 users will also be able to schedule Do Not Disturb (DND) mode as well as automatically receive calls when the device is connected to a Bluetooth device.

Apart from these, here’s the rest of the changelog accompanying OxygenOS 5.1.6 update:

  • Enables Idea VoLTE services in India
  • Fixes stability issues for dual-SIM cards
  • Optimizes call clarity
  • Improves ringtone volume and sound quality
  • Adds dual 4G network option in SIM & network settings
  • Optimizes power consumption and improves system stability

Note that this is an OTA update and as such, it will take some time before all OnePlus 6 units get the download notification. If it hasn’t arrived yet, don’t fret for it’ll be there soon.
