Both the Oppo R11 and R11 Plus have now gone official. After weeks of teasers and leaks, most of which were from Oppo themselves, we get to see the devices in person. But how much of a difference is there in specifications between the two smartphones. A Weibo post has brought this to our attention, with all the major differences being highlighted.
First, let’s get the similarities out of the way. The Oppo R11 and the R11 Plus come with 1080p displays, are powered by the Snapdragon 660 SoC, have a 20MP+16MP dual camera and a 20MP selfie camera. Both the smartphones feature 64GB of internal storage with the option to expand storage via microSD. And of course, both devices run Nougat out of the box.
As for what’s different, the Oppo R11 has a 5.5-inch screen whereas the Oppo R11 Plus has a larger 6-inch display so there’s slight decrease in pixel density with the latter device. The Oppo R11 has 4GB of RAM whereas the R11 Plus has 6GB. To be frank, there isn’t going to be any real world difference in performance between both RAM variants unless you were to load many graphic intensive games at once.

Since the Oppo R11 Plus is obviously the larger of the two, it receives a 4000mAh battery and the R11 gets a 3000mAh juice pack. The former device here will see noticeable gains in battery life as compared to the Oppo R11. Oh, and both devices also have VOOC fast charging capabilities thanks to the same processor being used in them.
