The Oppo R11 has been generating a lot of buzz around the rumor mill. Oppo’s official Weibo account has revealed official images detailing the presence of 2X optical zoom on the R11. Some of the earlier leaks indicated that the device would get a 20MP+12MP combo. This has now changed to a 20MP+16MP dual lens setup based on the teaser Oppo shared today.

The rear shooters are also capable of going up to 10x optical zoom without losing too much image quality, as can be seen from the right part of the image above. It’s possible that the 20MP+16MP dual camera configuration has been reserved for the Oppo R11 Plus, while the regular R11 gets 20MP+12MP setup, but we will know soon once the device’s specs are available at TENAA.

Yesterday, we got to have a peek at this camera when a R11’s back side was shared by Oppo. In addition to that, we also got our first reliable look at the specs in this upcoming device from an AnTuTu benchmark listing.

The R11 may pack in the new and powerful Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of on board storage. The device may also feature a 5.5-inch 1080p display and will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat to boot.
