Oppo launched yet another dual selfie camera phone in May, the Oppo F3. And within one month of this launch, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer came up with two other special editions of the same device — Oppo F3 Black Edition and Oppo F3 Reza Rahadian Limited Edition. The latter was confined to Indonesia only.
And now Oppo is back with yet another edition – Oppo F3 Red Edition. The company has teased a red color Oppo F3 with the caption COMING SOON.
The teaser image shows an Oppo F3 with a black front screen and red borders. Although the company has not teased the Oppo F3 Red Edition in its full glory, a little imagination gives us a rough idea about its looks (especially by recalling the looks of Oppo R9s Valentine Red Edition).
Oppo F3 clearly is a photographer’s delight as the phone is endowed with dual selfie cameras of 16MP + 8MP resolution. The 16 MP camera has a 1/3 inch sensor and an F2.0 aperture and is mainly there for clicking single selfies while the other 8MP 120-degree wide-angle lens is for group selfies. Additional interesting features include palm shutter using which you can click selfies by just waving your hand in front of the camera. The rear camera carries 13MP sensor with PDAF, Anti-shake 2.0, and Expert Mode features.
Oppo F3 sports a 5.5-inch FHD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. It is powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6750T processor paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage which is expandable up to 128 GB via a microSD card.
The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with ColorOS 3.0 skin on top. There’s a 3,200 mAh battery underneath. The fingerprint scanner in the front is embedded in the home button with a ‘hydrophobic membrane’ enabling it to respond to wet fingers.
