As per schedule, Oppo has launched its second dual selfie camera phone, the Oppo F3, in India today. Priced at Rs 19,990, this lower mid-range phone has gone up for pre-order in the country exclusively via Flipkart while shipping will start from May 13th. Also, consumers can place pre-order for Oppo F3 at the exclusive OPPO retail stores nationwide. Notably, the pre-orders end on May 12th.
The 64GB Gold colored Oppo F3 has been listed on Flipkart for pre-order. To propel the sale, Flipkart is also offering a pre-bundled freebie which includes a Bahubali Case and Selfie Stick along with the Oppo selfie expert phone. Oppo, on the other hand, has decided to choose three lucky winners from the pre-order entries via a lucky draw. These winners will get a chance to see the ICC finals live in London.
Flipkart is also giving upto Rs 18,500 off on exchange of a phone for the Oppo F3, but with terms and conditions. In addition, customers who place the pre-order using Axis Bank Buzz Credit Card will get extra 5 percent offer off the Rs 19,990 price of Oppo F3 while COD is also available.
Oppo launched its first dual selfie camera phone Oppo F3 Plus in March and the next month announced to launch its base model Oppo F3 on May 4th. The latter carries the same features as Oppo F3 Plus, except for the display size and few other other features. While the Plus variant features a massive 6-inch Full HD display, the Oppo F3 comes with a more easy to handle 5.5-inch FHD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
Powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6750T processor with Mali T860 GPU, the phone packs in 4GB RAM along with 64GB storage, which is expandable up to 128 GB via a microSD card.
Coming to the main highlight of the Oppo F3 phone, its cameras. The phone flaunts a dual camera up front of 16MP + 8MP sensors. The 16 MP camera with a 1/3 inch sensor and an F2.0 aperture lets you capture clear, low-noise shots and is mainly there for clicking single selfies while the other 8MP 120-degree wide-angle lens is for group selfies. In addition, the dual front cameras carry lot many other interesting features such as palm shutter using which you can click selfies by just waving your hand in front of the camera. The rear camera carries 13MP sensor with technologies such as PDAF, Anti-shake 2.0, and Expert Mode.

The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with ColorOS 3.0 skin on top and is powered by a 3200 mAh battery. The fingerprint scanner in the front is embedded in the home button with a ‘hydrophobic membrane’ enabling it to respond to wet fingers.
