OnePlus has started rolling out Open Beta 24 and Open Beta 16 for OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T, respectively, bringing the August security patch as well as a couple of other improvements.
OnePlus is usually extremely prompt with its updates, and the Chinese OEM has done its well-deserved reputation no harm with this release for the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T.
Apart from updating the device’s security patch to August 1st, 2019, the Open Beta builds smoothen the screenshotting process, optimize Zen Mode visuals, add the option to select the duration of time in Zen Mode, and fix general bugs.
Here’s the complete changelog:

- General bug fixes and stability improvements
- Updated Android security patch to 2019.08
- Zen Mode

The 2018-make OnePlus flagships are in line to get the Android Q update only behind the current flagships, OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. The devices are also in the Android Q Developer Preview program and have received three Android Q DP releases, so far. For casual users, the stable Android Q build is expected to hit the shelves before the end of 2019.
