The Chinese firm OnePlus witnessed a huge success in the last year with almost one million units of its One smartphone being sold. The success formula of the firm depends on the low pricing of the killer flagship smartphone.
In the meantime, OnePlus got to learn many things about the smartphone industry and the firm is all set to launch the OnePlus Two smartphone sometime this year. The launch of the upcoming device is expected to a smooth process. However, the OnePlus Two is unlikely to arrive before the third quarter of this year.
There are numerous speculations regarding the OnePlus Two and it is expected to arrive with a laser focus fingerprint identification system that is embedded to the home button of the device. It is believed to use a 64 bit Snapdragon 810 chipset to power it. The handset is claimed to be similar to the Oppo Find 7 in terms of design, but this should not be a surprise as most the top executives of OnePlus were with Oppo.
The most surprising aspect of the OnePlus Two is that it will be priced expensively than its prequel. However, the firm has to consider selling its next generation device without an invite system. The low price of the device and the thin margins that the firm has now will prevent it from rendering tremendous supply at the beginning, but it has to cater to the demands of consumers as there is a tough competition in the market.
