Just last week, OnePlus rolled out the Android 7.0 Nougat-based HydrogenOS 3.0 update to its OnePlus 3T users in China. And now, it is rolling out the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update as HydrogenOS Open Beta 11 and 5 for OnePlus 3 and 3T users respectively.
While there isn’t much of a difference between OxygenOS and HydrogenOS except for the moniker, it’s essential to know that the latter is meant only for the Chinese market.
Anyway, coming back to the main topic, the new Open Beta 11 update for the OnePlus 3 weighs in at 1.34GB while the Open Beta 5 for the 3T is 1.33GB in size.

The update brings along several additions to both the smartphones in the form of improvements in Bluetooth performance as well as optimizations in GPS performance while roaming.
OnePlus has also resolved the system stability issues in the new update. They have also included a fix for the problems surrounding the Night Mode alongside general bug fixes.

Oneplus has already nailed the hardware department, but now it seems they have started nailing the software department too! Quick and timely updates are always appreciated! Way to go Oneplus!
i love oneplus because its not expensive like other flagship but this oneplus 3t is a flagship killer with cheap price.

Good to see oxygen OS and Hydrogen OS being taken together forward together. No one will be left disappointed. I am a fan on OOS and not of HOS though and wouldn’t want them to mix. OOS right now is doing everything right.
