The OnePlus 7 Pro is getting a new update today, one that installs the August security patch already. It’s still the month of July in most countries, and even Google hasn’t released August 2019 security patch for its Pixel devices yet, but somehow OnePlus has managed to pack that into OxygenOS 9.5.11 update and even hit the rollout trigger. Nothing to complain, though!
The OxygenOS 9.5.11 update went live hours ago today, and besides the August patch, it brings a host of bug fixes and optimizations.
OnePlus reveals that with OxygenOS 9.5.11, they have optimized the Adaptive Brightness, touch screen sensitivity while gaming, and accidental touches in the notification bar during calls on the OnePlus 7 Pro.
The 9.5.11 update to OxygenOS for the 7 Pro also brings updated GMS (Google Mobile Services) with version 2019.06, and then some general bug fixes and improvements. You can expect a similar update for the OnePlus 7 pretty soon.
OnePlus is also being treated to Android Q beta update, which is available in its latest version DP3 right now (also available on OnePlus 6T and OnePlus 6). We expect the DP4 build to become available soon.
