The recently launched flagship phone OnePlus 5 is receiving a new software update. This is the third update being rolled by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer to the less than a month old OnePlus 5.

The update comes in as software version Oxygen OS 4.5.5 update and brings with it a couple of improvements. Weighing at 59MB, the new update improves WiFi connectivity. It also enhances video recording capability of OnePlus 5 which in turn optimizes battery performance.

Other features brought in by the update include improvements for voice calling. The vibration intensity when receiving calls has been decreased. The update also brings along with it a bunch of optimizations alongside a few bug fixes which include fix for certain apps not able to work under IPv6 network settings.

The update is being pushed over the air. It may take a while to reach your device. You can also check manually by heading to Settings > About device > System update.
