A few days before the end of the month, OnePlus 5 and 5T users can finally download and install the latest April 2019 security patch.
The OxygenOS 9.0.5 update is rolling out over the air and comes a week after OnePlus 6 and 6T got an update with March 2019 security patches, which is kinda amusing but nothing unusual.
Besides updating the security patch level to the latest version available, OxygenOS 9.0.5 also improves the stability of the Phone app, fixes issues with parallel apps appearing in the primary account and download pictures in parallel WhatsApp.
Gamers should also receive a fix for the issue that prevented third-party video calls from going through when in Gaming mode.
OnePlus notes that this being an incremental upgrade, it will take some time before all OnePlus 5 and 5T units get the download notification.
