A new update is now rolling out to the OnePlus flagships. The update installs OyxgenOS Open Beta 17 and Open Beta 8 for the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T respectively. This update not only spruces up the performance of your smartphone but also includes a host of new features.
New features include, but are not limited to, Ambient Display 2.0, lifting up your device to turn the screen on, quick sharing from the OnePlus Camera app and the new OnePlus font. The update also brushes up UI on the Gallery, Recorder, Weather and File Manager apps in addition to other under-the-hood UI enhancements.
Third-party apps are expected to have much shorter launch times and background and foreground processes have also been optimized for a better user experience. The setup wizard now follows the design of the latest version of Nougat. Importing contacts is now a lot more easier with this update too. While making calls, the dialer now automatically adds country codes to the number.
