It was only on yesterday that we got a confirmation from the OnePlus CEO that the OnePlus 2 will be priced below $450. Now, there is another confirmation on the OnePlus 2 specification by the manufacturer.
The Chinese company has announced that the OnePlus 2 will arrive with 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM that will render faster loading time, smooth gameplay and many other energy saving features to the upcoming flagship smartphone.
As stated by the manufacturer, the lower power consumption leading to better battery efficiency is another benefit of this RAM. You can use your favorite apps on the OnePlus 2 without any concerns regarding battery drain.
This is possible as the LPDDR4 RAM will provide twice the bandwidth performance than the LPDDR3 without consuming more power. Also, the RAM of OnePlus 2 will make use of lower operating voltage of 1.1V than the 1.2V of the yesteryear model. Furthermore, the speed of the LPDDR4 will range up to 32 Gbps that is twice faster than that of the LPDDR3.
As of now, we know that the OnePlus 2 will be announced on July 27 in virtual reality for the first time in the tech industry and that it will feature a fingerprint scanner that will be faster than the Touch ID on the iPhone 6.
The other specifications of the smartphone that have been confirmed include the usage of Snapdragon 810 v2.1 processor and USB Type-C port. There are speculations that the second generation OnePlus flagship smartphone will feature the Duo Camera arrangement at its back and an all metal build.
