Being able to customize the heck out of a device is what Android is famous for. However, there always comes a point where really deep customization needs more access to the system, which is where rooting comes in. Root allows one to use root-enabled apps to do many things such as overclocking, accessing system files, removing unnecessary bloatware apps, applying different mods, etc.

If you own the newly launched HTC Evo 4G LTE, you can now root it thanks to a One-Click Root method released for it by XDA Senior Member zedomax. One-click methods are great in that they don’t need the users to do much except just sit and watch while the magic happens.

Keep in mind that rooting will void your phone’s warranty, so you should proceed at your own risk. Follow the guide below to learn how you can root your HTC Evo 4G LTE.

Compatibility

This guide is applicable only for HTC EVO 4G LTE. DO NOT try this on any other device.

Warning!

The methods and procedures discussed here are considered risky and you should not attempt anything if you don’t know completely what it is. If any damage occurs to your device, we won’t be held liable.
