The official T-Mobile LG G4 Nougat update is expected to be release by the end of January 2017, but if you’d like the freshest release of Android running on your T-Mobile G4 before LG releases the official update, folks over at CyanogenMod have got you covered.
Official nightly builds of CM14.1 are now available for the T-Mobile LG G4 (h811). In case you don’t know, CM14.1 is an Android 7.1 Nougat based AOSP ROM developed and maintained by CyanogenMod — the most popular custom ROM for Android devices.
This is an official release of CM14.1 for DEVICE. However, this is a nightly release and doesn’t have all of the CyanogenMod specific functions like CM Theme Manager working yet. You might have to wait a bit more if these functions are important for you.
