NVIDIA has unveiled significant enhancements to its cloud gaming service GeForce. Now, marking a substantial upgrade for its mid-tier subscription.
According to 9to5Google, the newly renamed Performance tier now offers 1440p streaming capabilities and ultrawide monitor support, features previously exclusive to the Ultimate tier.
The Performance membership maintains its $9.99 monthly price point while introducing the ability to save in-game graphics settings across sessions, including NVIDIA RTX features in supported titles. This upgrade represents a significant improvement from the previous Priority tier, which was limited to 1080p resolution.
A notable change coming in 2025 is the introduction of a 100-hour monthly playtime limit for the new subscribers. NVIDIA states this will affect only 6% of users, with 94% of members typically playing well within this timeframe.
To provide flexibility, users can carry over up to 15 unused hours to the following month, and additional 15-hour blocks can be purchased for $2.99 by Performance members.
Current subscribers have until January 1, 2026, to enjoy unlimited playtime, provided they maintain their active subscription.
