A new Nokia feature phone, dubbed as RM-1172 has been certified at TENAA today, which basically is our hint on the imminent release of the device. Maybe it’s even low-spec’ed than the Nokia RM-1187 that was certified at TENAA about 6 months ago.
Having launched Nokia 6, their first Android phones, the HMD is looking to woo every segment of the mobile phone industry, given RM series belongs to their feature phones segment, not smartphones.
Nokia is also rumored to be planning to release Nokia 8 — could be powered by Snapdragon 835 chipset, and may feature cool 6GB RAM, 64/12GB storage, etc. specs — along with Nokia 3 (Nokia 3310 anyone?).
And then there is Nokia 5, too. A low-end device that should give Xiaomi’s Redmi 4 some competition.
