Nokia 8 would be the fourth Android smartphone that Nokia will be launching under the HMD Global. Nokia announced its three Android smartphones – Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 at the MWC Barcelona 2017 in Feb this year. Although the devices are available in some markets, they are not available globally yet.

The true flagship device from Nokia, Nokia 8, will sport a 5.3 inch display with QHD resolution. It will be powered by the powerful Snapdragon 835 chipset, which at the moment is the latest and the top chipset available.

The Snapdragon 835 chipset will be coupled with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. As HMD Global has promised that Nokia devices will receive the updates continuously, the Nokia 8 will be powered by the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat and once the Android O is out, Nokia 8 will definitely taste it.

As per the press render, on the front side the device doesn’t look like bezel less display, with top and bottom side sporting a big forehead. At the bottom lies a home button flanked by back and recent apps key. We are assuming the fingerprint sensor will be present under the home key as there is no fingerprint sensor on the rear side.
