The 32GB version of the Google Nexus 7 has been priced at £199 in the UK. This, in itself, is a pretty sweet price considering what you’re getting – 7″ 1280 x 800 display, quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 1GB RAM, NFC and Android 4.2 coming up on November 13th.
However, if you’ve been looking around for the best price available on the slate, you may want to head over to Currys or Comet. Both high-street retailers are offering the Nexus 7 32GB at a bargain price of £179 as part of a liquidation sale. While the £199 by itself is a pretty good price, another £20 off sweetens the pot a lot more.
The £179 price is good only while stocks last, and you’ll have to make haste if you want to get it at that tag. Also, the offer is only valid in-store. So you’ll have to make that trip to the store, although you hate the cold weather outside. One small caveat with the Currys deal though is that you would also need to purchase a case to get the rebate. Which should be fine, since you’d be looking at getting a case anyway. Comet has not applied any caveats yet, and offers a flat £20 off, case or no case.
So if you were planning to get a Nexus 7 this holiday, you might as well go for the latest 32GB flavor, and avail of this bargain price while you’re at it.
