Google announced the Nexus 10 yesterday, along with the Nexus 4, the Nexus 7 32GB, and the Nexus 7 32GB 3G, putting an end to weeks of speculations and leaks about the devices. Yesterday was probably one of those days when didn’t really come across any leak worth writing about. What would you expect? Everybody was busy checking out the official details of the new babies in the Nexus family.

While we are now aware that the Nexus 10 has been announced in 16GB and 32GB flavors, it appears that Samsung could also have a 64GB version either already ready, or in the works. Blue Ringer Men reports that the Samsung official website indicates a 64GB option in addition to the announced 16GB & 32GB ones. Take a look at the screenshot below.

While the text may be in Korean, there can be no mistaking that 2560 x 1600 display resolution, which is available only and only on the Nexus 10 for now. If you check the last line, it shows 3 storage capacity options, including the 64GB. Google has already announced the pricing for the 16GB and 32GB flavors at $399 and $499 respectively. If the 64GB version exists, we wonder why Google held back from an announcing it. If it eventually does, the tablet may be priced at ~ $599?

Well, it could also be as simple as a typo error. But we don’t think Samsung, who leads the tally for the number of Nexus devices produced,  is likely to make any errors as far as Google’s first Nexus tablet is concerned. We might be hearing an announcement soon, or maybe not. For now, with all the goodies that Google has put out for us, there is a lot to choose from as it is, but we won’t be complaining if a 64GB Nexus 10 is added to that spread.
