Update [August 04, 2017]: Google has pushed another quickie update for the Play Store app, and this time the version number gets a bump to 8.1.25. A big jump than the 8.0.74 APK we shared earlier in the day with you. Of course, we have provided the download link below for the Play Store APK 8.1.25, so grab it now.
Google has pushed another update to the Google Play Store. While the previous Google Play Store was on version number 8.0.73, the new update arrives with version number 8.0.74.
The new update doesn’t bring any significant change and is a ghost update like previous two updates. However, version 8.0.22 brought a prominent change to the Play store viz. inline change logs to app updates.
Similar to any Play Store update, the current one is a server side update. Meaning, Google will be pushing out the new Play Store version gradually to all supported Android devices i.e. it will be available on your device automatically.
However, if you would like to give the new version a go, you can grab the Play Store APK file from the download link below and install the update manually.
Once you download the apk, install it like you would install any other APK file on your Android device. For help, you could use our step-by-step guide to install a APK file on Android.
