A new OTA update is rolling out for Samsung Galaxy Note 4 users at Sprint. The new update arrives as build number QI5.
Unlike Samsung Galaxy Note 8 update that pushed BlueBorne patch and September patch individually, the Galaxy Note 4 update brings the latest September security patch along with the BlueBorne patch. For the unaware, BlueBorne is a dangerous attack vector that spreads through the air using Bluetooth technology. It doesn’t need to pair with your device instead the only requirement is that Bluetooth should be turned on.
The latest update, which weighs over 550MB also patches other security vulnerabilities. You should also expect bug fixes and under the hood performance updates.

It is recommended to keep the device battery above 50% while installing the update and you should download the update on Wi-Fi network so that there are no additional data charges.
Meanwhile, the latest Android operating system, Android 8.0 Oreo is out. Unfortunately, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 won’t receive it, which is obvious since it didn’t get Nougat too. But, other Samsung devices will get Oreo update, you can check them here.
