Verizon Wireless is rolling out a new software update for users of the LG V20. However, the new update still doesn’t bring the much anticipated Android 8.0 Oreo update to the V20, rather, it installs the latest Android security patches.
Even though the latest update doesn’t install the latest OS, it’s a good thing that it installs the latest Android security patch for the month of April 2018. This, at least, will keep your device refreshed until Oreo comes in, probably somewhere this Q2 2018.

The new LG V20 update installs software version VS9951BA and as usual, you can expect system enhancements and bug fixes to tag along. Since it’s an OTA update, it may take a few days before all V20 users get it, so no need to fret!
Alternatively, hit the Settings > About phone menu and try a manual update.
