While the stable version of Hydrogen OS for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T is on Android 7.0, OnePlus in April rolled out Android 7.1.1 as a Beta update to Hydrogen OS. While OnePlus 3 got the Beta 11 update, OnePlus 3T got it as Beta 5 update.
Then in May, OnePlus released an update to HydrogenOS that raised the Beta update to 13 and 7 in OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T respectively bringing along several bug fixes and improvements.
Today, again, OnePlus has rolled out a new Beta update for HydrogenOS. The new update comes as version 15 for OnePlus 3 and 9 for OnePlus 3T. For the unaware, HydrogenOS is the customized Android OS developed by OnePlus for their devices for the Chinese market while OxygenOS is for the overseas market.
The new Beta update that weighs 1.39GB for both the devices also has the same changelog for both the devices.

To start with, the Beta software brings two new updates. Firstly, it updates the input method in both the devices, which in turn solves the problem of voice recognition. Secondly, the Beta version updates the plus community to V2.6.
In addition to updates, the Beta version also brings many bug fixes and repairs such as the problem of duplication and long screenshots have been solved. The update also repairs the application lock color, power display, and camera issue.
Besides that, the update fixes the hotspot issues where a user could not send files through third party software and it now displays the correct real time speed. Further, the update fixes automatic flow calibration issue and problem in the display of weather under scenes.

Meanwhile, both OnePlus 3 and 3T will get updated to Android O in future as confirmed by its CEO. Also, in other news, OnePlus 5, the upcoming flagship from OnePlus is all set to launch on June 20 and is expected to feature Snapdragon 835 processor, 8GB RAM and dual rear cameras.
