BlackBerry is rolling out a new software update to its Priv handset which installs the latest security patch on the smartphone.
Arriving with the build AAO484, the OTA brings along with it the September security patch alongside a bunch of bug fixes and enhancements which improve the overall performance of the smartphone.

BlackBerry is pushing the update to the Priv handsets over-the-air as we speak. Which means an update notification should pop on your screen anytime now.
In case it hasn’t already, you can head straight to Settings > About > System updates to check for the update manually.

Also, since it’s just a monthly software update, it should weigh low in terms of size. So, you shouldn’t face any issues downloading it over Wi-Fi or cellular data although the former is recommended to avoid additional data charges.
In addition, As always, charge your device before hitting the install button. Try to maintain at least 50% charge.
