Archos, the France based tech manufacturer has showcased four new affordable smartphones at the MWC 2015 tech show. The smartphones announced by the vendor include Archos 50 Oxygen+, 59 Xenon, 62 Xenon and 52 Platinum. Besides these smartphones Archos also unveiled a trio of tablets called 101 Magnus, 94 Magnus and 101 Magnus+.

The Archos 50 Oxygen+ is a downgraded variant of 50c Oxygen and it flaunts a 5 inch HD 720p IPS display. It houses a 1.4 GHz octa core MediaTek MT6592 processor backed by 1 GB of RAM and Mali 450MP4 graphics unit. Fueled by Android 4.4 KitKat, the device uses an 8 MP main camera with BSI sensor and a 2 MP front facer. The other aspects of the Archos 50 Oxygen+ include 8 GB or 16 GB of native storage space that can be further expanded by another 64 GB, 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a 2,000 mAh battery.

The other Archos smartphones use a 1.3 GHz quad core MediaTek MT6582 processor paired with 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of native storage space and an 8 MP main camera at their back. Up front, the Archos 52 Platinum and 59 Xenon use a 2 MP selfie shooter, whereas the 62 Xenon flaunts a 5 MP sensor.

The 52 Platinum, 59 Xenon and 62 Xenon boast of a 5.2 inch, 5.9 inch and 6.27 displays with HD resolution. The battery used in the 59 Xenon remains unknown, whereas the 52 Platinum and 62 Xenon are energized by 1,750 mAh and 2,300 mAh battery respectively.

When it comes to the Archos tablets, the Archos 94 Magnus is the first tablet with a whopping 256 GB of default storage that can be further expanded up to 128 GB.

Running on Android 4.4 KitKat, it comes with a 9.4 inch IPS display with 1280×800 pixels and is stuffed with a 1.8 GHz quad core Rockchip RK 3288 processor paired with 1.5 GB of RAM and Mali T764 GPU. The other aspects include a 5 MP main camera, a VGA front facer and a 6,400 mAh battery.

The Archos 101 Magnus incorporates a 1.3 GHz quad core MediaTek MT8127 processor backed by Mali 450MP4 graphics card and 1 GB of RAM. There is 64 GB of internal storage, 2 MP main camera and a VGA selfie shooter. The tablet is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery.

The last tablet, Archos 101 Magnus+ is identical to the 101 Magnus in terms of processor and uses a 2 GB of RAM. It boasts of a 10.1 inch Full HD IPS display with 1920×1200 pixel resolution and uses a 5 MP main camera and a 2 MP front facing snapper. There is 128 GB of native storage space onboard and it energizes a 7,000 mAh battery.

On the pricing and availability front, the Archos 50 Oxygen+ will be released this month for less than $200 and the 4G LTE variant of the same is to arrive in June. The 52 Platinum, 59 Xenon and 62 Xenon are priced at $145, $158 and $170 respectively. The Archos 101 Magnus, 101 Magnus+ and 94 Magnus are said to arrive in April and they are priced at GBP 249, GBP 129 and GBP 249 respectively.
