Samsung has developed a nifty little toggle to help gamers get the most out of their Galaxy devices. Branded as Game Launcher, this feature mutes your notifications and optimizes performance, ensuring your gaming sessions are uninterrupted and seamless.
While it’s mostly a reliable app, it still has its fair share of quirks. One of the most common bugs is that the app doesn’t always mute notifications even when ‘No alerts during game’ option is turned on.
If you, too, are one of the frustrated users, there’s one simple method you could try.
How to mute notifications completely
Toggling on ‘No alerts during game’ mutes incoming calls, text messages, app notifications, toast pop-ups, and even dialogs. However, if you happen to have a rogue app or two on your device, they might not adhere to Game Launcher’s commands.
To make sure they listen, try turning on Do Not Disturb.
Step 1: Pull down Quick Panel.
Step 2: Press and hold DND.
Step 3: Toggle on Turn on now or schedule as per your sessions.
