Upping its game in the hardware sector, Motorola will be shipping its upcoming flagship device with the latest Snapdragon 835 on board. The same was confirmed via a Tweet showing a mystery Motorola phone doing a LTE Gigabit test.
Coming from the Editor of Wireless Week, Diana Goovaerts’ Twitter handle, the news also showcased an image of the Motorola phone. But nothing much could be deciphered from it as the device was tapped over and inside a case.

Nevertheless, the tweet did mention that Motorola plans to release its new flagship with the Snapdragon 835 SoC this year itself and it will come with ‘four antennas based on unique tech years in the making’. The Motorola device underwent a LTE Gigabit test on Sprint network, average speed of which was said to be 700-900 Mbps.

The first phone to rock the Snapdragon 835 is Galaxy S8 which is scheduled for a March 29th release. HTC is also working on its 2017 flagship known as HTC 11 which purportedly will be powered by the same SoC. And Qualcomm has already stated that it is short on meeting the demand of their flagship processor chip. As such, the release of Motorola’s this year’s flagship device with the said processor shows that it has smartly made its way through the crowd and snatched a beast for itself.
