Motorola — which just launched new versions of its existing devices — has put up a very tempting offer for new consumers. Apparently, if you were to go to the Moto Maker website and design and order a new Moto X, upon checking out you will discover that a brand new Moto E (3G) has been added to your cart — for free which, considering that the second generation Moto E costs around $119, is a very generous offer.

The Moto X if you remember comes with a full HD 5.2-inch display and a a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor.  There is 2 GB of RAM and 3 variants with 16/32/64 GB internal memory options. The E on the other hand, comes with a 4.5 inch display along with a quad-core Snapdragon 200 SoC. It packs 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage and a 5 MP camera as compared to Moto X’s 13 MP one.

This offer however, looks to be applicable exclusively to US customers and is valid for devices purchased either up front or on a contractual basis from carriers like Verizon and AT&T. However, if this has got you tempted, don’t waste too much time mulling over it because barring extensions by Motorola, the offer is valid only upto the 24th of March.

Well, Motorola sure seems to be leaving no stone un-turned in its drive to woo customers and combined with the extreme levels of customization the Moto Maker promises to provide, its may just prove very hard to hold yourself back.
