It looks like Motorola India is all set to launch its high-end device Droid Turbo (Moto Maxx) exclusively through online retailer Flipkart as the latter broke the news today via Twitter and Facebook of an upcoming Motorola device to “Get your life turbocharged” tagline.
Moto Droid Turbo will be marketed in India as Moto Maxx. It is a beast of a device featuring 5.2 inch QHD (1440 x 2560 pixels) display with 64-bit snapdragon 805 CPU clocked at 2.7 GHZ, Adreno 420 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It will have 21 MP autofocus camera with f/2.0 aperture and dual-LED flash which can shoot upto 4K Full HD videos and 2MP front camera for selfies.
But what really makes Moto Maxx a “turbocharged” device is its massive 3,900 mAh battery. We can imagine that going for 2-3 days without charge on moderate use.
Moto Maxx will run on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box but Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the device is already pushing out in the US, so it’ll be available in India as well very soon. the device will ship with 64GB internal storage (non-expandable) in India.
