Moto Z Play price drops by 500 Yuan in China, now available for 2799 Yuan

In less than a week, Motorola has reduced the price of Moto Z Play units twice in China. Just four days back, the premium smartphone in China with an original price tag of 3299 Yuan received a price cut of 300 Yuan bringing the cost down to 2,999 Yuan. Once again, it is up for grabs at another discount of 200 Yuan from the already low 2,999 Yuan cost.

Moto Z Play can be purchased at 2799 Yuan in China which is 500 Yuan less than the original price. It is up for grabs at Lenovo’s online official store. The phone is available in two color options — Aristocratic White and Jazz Black. It will be shipped with JBL headphones worth 199 Yuan and Moto Z Play custom module gift bag worth 399 Yuan, all for free.

Inside the Moto Z Play custom module gift bag you will get a Mo Fan, two back shells (gray wood grain, blue star pattern), 2.5D all-coated steel film and more.

Usually, too many discounts and offers are given either to bolster the sales of an under-performing product or to clear the table of old products to make space for new ones. Just for the sake of Lenovo’s reputation we would like to go with the second reason which also has a logical backing in the form of its upcoming flagship devices Moto Z2 and Z2 Force.

  1. this is the second price drop in this week, looks like with the news of new affordable and much more powerful smartphones like Mi6 coming, has an adverse effect on the sales of Moto devices!! well they should hv known it earlier and dropped the price at that time..

  3. That’s a big drop! Perhaps stock clearance before they release the next iteration of the Z series this year.
