At a time when other OEMs are releasing the April security patch update to their devices, Motorola, sticking to its lackadaisical attitude for monthly updates, is rolling out February security patch to Moto Z units in Europe. But as the saying goes, it’s always better late than never.

The Moto Z units in the US are receiving the February monthly security patch update as build NPLS25.86-17-3-1. The update, which is Android Nougat based, is being rolled out over the air as we speak.

If you own a Moto Z phone, wait for some time for the update to appear on your device. And if waiting is not your thing, you can check for it right away by heading to Settings > About device > System updates. However, before hitting the download button, connect your device to a WiFi network and ensure that it is at least 50 percent charged.
