We know that Motorola is getting ready to unveil the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Plus handsets in the coming weeks. As the expected release date draws closer, more details of the phones are beginning to show up online.

It’s not long ago that we came across the Moto G6 and G6 Plus codenames and today, we have fresh details regarding the color variants of the latter model thanks to Android Headlines. Prior to the latest report, it had been revealed that the Moto G6 Plus will come in three color variants of Nimbus (Silver), Dark Lake and Deep Indigo.

While the latest development does little to assert the previous rumor, it does suggest that there will be two more color options, making it a total of five colors for the Moto G6 Plus. That’s interesting and strange at the same time, but it’s unlikely that all five color variants will be available from day 1. The said color variants are Silver, White, Gold, Blue and Cyan, but these might not be their official names.

Other than the color variants, the latest leak has nothing much to offer. However, we know that the Moto G6 Plus will ship with a 5.93-inch 18:9 display with a full HD+ resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset with up to 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, a dual 12MP + 5MP camera on the back, a 16MP selfie shooter, a 3250mAh battery unit and Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.

Lenovo is expected to announce the Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus and Moto G6 Play at the upcoming MWC 2018 event, but things could at the eleventh hour.
