After the launch of Moto G5 Plus in India last month, Lenovo has released its younger sibling the Moto G5 in the country today. Priced at Rs 11,999, Moto G5 will go on sale in India starting tonight from 11:59PM exclusively on Amazon.

The first Amazon Prime smartphone in India, Moto G5 prompts you to furnish your Amazon ID when switched on, instead of Gmail (which is the standard procedure). Basically aimed at expanding the base of Amazon Prime lovers, the Moto G5 focuses on a service-oriented model and is shipped with the entire Amazon Suit bundle along with Amazon Prime shopping benefits.

The Moto G5 sports a 5-inch Full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. Although not water-proof, the phone comes with a nano-coating which makes it water-repellent. Powered by 1.4Ghz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor paired with Adreno 505 GPU, the Moto G5 runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.
