Motorola’s Moto C, which was launched last week, is its cheapest phone till date. Carrying entry-level specsheet, the phone targets first-time smartphone buyers. And now the benchmark results for the phone have appeared on benchmarking site Geekbench giving us a fair idea of its performance.
The Moto C scores 451 points for the single-core test whereas it scores 1260 points in the multi-core test. Considering that the phone runs MT6737M processor paired with 1GB RAM, not much can be expected from Moto C. Given that it runs pure Android UI, at best we can expect no bloatware, and kind of maximum performance out of the handset.

Moto C was launched with Moto C Plus last week. Both of them are powered by MediaTek MT6737 chipset with a difference in clock speeds. While the Moto C packs in only 1GB RAM and 16GB storage, the Plus variant gets either 1GB or 2GB RAM with the 16GB storage.
The phones will be shipped with Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and 2MP selfie shooter. In terms of rear camera, Moto C houses a 5MP sensor while the C Plus gets an 8MP sensor at the back. The major difference between the phones comes in the battery capacity area. The standard Moto C has to remain content with a 2,350mAh battery while the Moto C Plus gets a huge 4,000mAh battery.
