Ever since the release of the official Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) Android 4.0 update for the Asus Eee Pad Transformer, along with the sources, we’ve seen development on the tablet going on in full force. Another ICS based custom ROM has hit the Transformer, the Team EOS ROM, adding another choice for users to the ever growing list.
The Team EOS ROM is based on AOSP and is currently in the beta stage, with nightlies that come out, well, every night. For those who don’t know, nightlies are development builds that are generated automatically every 24 hours with the latest changes incorporated into them. This means that people can try out the latest version of the ROM almost every day.
Bear in mind though, that since this is a beta release, bugs and issues are present in the ROM and new ones can always crop up, specially due to the nightly status of the ROM.
Now let’s see how we can flash the Team EOS ROM on your Asus Transformer.
Compatibility
This ROM and the guide below are compatible only and only with the Asus Eee Pad Transformer, model number TF101. It’s not compatible with any other device. Check your device model in Settings » About Tablet.
