Xiaomi has released a new bug fixer update of MIUI 9 Global Beta ROM bringing the version to 8.2.1. Supported devices will be receiving the new update over the air.
The update brings several bug fixes and to the devices that are running them. You can install the update on the following devices; the Mi MIX 2, Redmi Note 4, Redmi Note 4X, Mi 6, Mi Note 2, Mi 5, Mi 5s, Mi 5s Plus, Mi Max, Mi Max Prime, Mi Max 2, Mi 3, Mi 4, Redmi 3, Redmi 3S, Redmi Note 3, Redmi Note 3 Special Edition, Redmi Note 2, Redmi 4/4X, Redmi 4A, Redmi Note 5A/Y1 Lite, and the Redmi Note 5A Prime/Y1.

If you own any of the supported devices, then you should check the Updater app on your smartphone to check if the new update has arrived. Those who want to try out the Global Beta ROM must download the ROM and install it via recovery. Some of these devices are running Oreo, while others are running Nougat and even Marshmellow.
Xiaomi had recently announced that almost 40+ smartphones from them will be receiving the MIUI 9 software update. The company also took wraps off MIUI 10 recently, which includes features from Android Oreo and is also heavily influenced by AI and machine learning.
