Microsoft has released yet another new app to add to their arsenal. This one is called Outings, and it helps you look for information, photos, and blogs about a place you may want to visit. It is a perfect app for someone who loves to travel.
The app basically acts as a guide, and shows you beautiful places that you may want to go to. The results are based on your interests, which is a good thing. Microsoft has been testing this app for a while now, but now it’s officially available in the Play Store.

After launching the Outings app, select a bunch of landscapes and travel related topics that you like, and you’re all set. The app will now give you a list of places that you probably would like to visit. The interface is easy on the eyes, and high quality photos fill up the main page.
You can also search for stories from other travel blogs. There’s a Discover tab that shows random interesting places in the US, a Nearby tab shows information about places near you. If you’ve already visited a place, you can check that off the list. A map view shows you all the places in a better arrangement.

Finally, you can save a trip to a folder, create bucket lists with travel dates, and share these details with friends/family or on social media. If you love to travel and were looking for such an app, then you must give Outings a try. It is available for free from the Play Store.
