So it seems like Micromax has finally launched its Unite 3 for the public. Rumors about the third member of the Unite series had been in circulation since quite some time but after long last the device has finally been listed on Micromax’s official website as being available for purchase through a third-party retailer.

The device is backed by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MTK6582M) processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage — subject to further expansion via micro SD. The Unite 3 comes with a 4.7-inch (480×800 pixels) WVGA IPS display and Android 5.0 Lollipop. There is a 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash while the secondary 2 MP camera uses the fixed focus technique to deliver clearer pictures.

Connectivity wise, you have the regular package of 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth and there is a 2000 mAh battery to keep things up and running for up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 220 hours of standby time — Oh! and did we mention the device supports dual sim? — Also, there is a special package on offer for Vodafone users who buy the new device. Vodafone is offering up to 500MB (2G/3G) of free data per month for a period of two months.
