Mi Band 3 coming soon?

Xiaomi Mi Band 3

It’s been over a year since Xiaomi released the Mi Band 2. If anything, it’s about time the Mi Band 3 takes over from the special editions the company has been throwing around to keep fans busy.

In this regard, a device believed to be the Xiaomi Mi Band 3 has just received Bluetooth certification, suggesting that its launch is imminent. Even though the certification doesn’t give out much in terms of specs, there’s some info we can still make of it.

For instance, the Mi Band 3 will come with model number XMSH05HM and support Bluetooth 4.2 LE (Low Energy). The listing also says the device will be manufactured by Anhui Huami Information Technology Co. Ltd, just like before.

There are no photos, specs or any other significant details available about the Mi Band 3 at the moment, but you can expect things like OLED display, IP6X dust and water resistance, accelerometer, heart rate sensor and calorie counter, among others.

With the MWC 2018 almost here, we may get lucky to see Xiaomi unveil the Mi Band 3 at the event. We’ll keep you up to date.
