MetroPCS launched its second 4G LTE device today, the LG Esteem MS910. It’s been making rounds in the rumor mill for long, but no more, LG Esteem now got its esteem place both at MetroPCS stores and online retail websites for the price tag of $249.
MetroPCS is also offering a limited time offer with Esteem, it is giving a free 90-days complimentary subscription to Rhapsody, to customers who purchase the phone with a $50 4G service plan. The network is also offering its MetroStudio music and video service, along with Rhapsody Unlimited Music.
The LG Esteem is powered by a 1GHz single-core processor and Android Gingerbread OS and other features which were considered high-end only last year.
Esteem also supports Dolby Mobile Surround 7.1 sound system for the best music experience or you can stream all your media via the micro-HDMI adapter or DLAN. Seems like MetroPCS is giving music addicts an offer they can’t resist.
LG Esteem Specs:
- Android Gingerbread OS (v2.3)
- Single-core 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor
- 512MB RAM
- 5 megapixel rear camera with Auto-Focus and LED Flash
- 1.3-megapixel front facing camera (for Video chat)
- 720p video recording
- 4.3-inch WVGA touchscreen display with Gorilla Glass cover
- 8GB internal memory
- Rhapsody Unlimited Music and MetroSTUDIO
Given the price and reasonable spec-sheet, coupled with the music services and 4G LTE data speeds, we think LG Esteem is indeed a very good offering at MetroPCS. If you’re looking for a phone that’s not so high-end in specs, and doesn’t cost fortunes, LG Esteem is the device you should buy at MetroPCS.
