Meizu has been long awaited to enter the Indian smartphone arena, and finally the firm has tipped at an imminent entry. Being a prominent smartphone maker in the Chinese market, the firm has been prepping to foray into the Indian market for quite sometime.
Now, Meizu has launched its official Facebook page for the country confirming that it will soon enter the Indian market. This move from the firm comes after the other Chinese makers such as Oppo, Xiaomi and OnePlus have been successful in the country in the last year.
Meizu is believed to launch the M1 Note in India and the device arrives with a 5.5 inch Full HD 1080p display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It employs a 1.7 GHz octa core MediaTek MT6752 processor teamed up with Mali-T760 graphics card and 2 GB of RAM. The handset comes in two options – 16 GB and 32 GB of native storage support that cannot be expanded further.
Meizu M1 Note flaunts a 13 MP main snapper and a 5 MP front facer. There are connectivity aspects such as LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and dual SIM functionality. The Android 4.4.4 KitKat platform is wrapped with Flyme 4.0 UI and the device is energized by a 3,140 mAh battery.
Notably, the firm assures that the smartphone will not be too expensive as the offerings from the other Chinese counterparts. We can expect the Meizu M1 Note to be priced around Rs 20,000 as the Xiaomi Mi 4 and OnePlus One smartphones.
