The Chinese manufacturer Meizu has posted a teaser on the official Meizu India Facebook page. This teaser image reveals that the firm is prepping to launch a device in the country on May 18.
The teaser takes a shot at the fellow Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi as it reads “Are you Ok?” Lately, the firm’s executives claimed that Meizu will sell its offerings via online and physical stores instead of following the online only path.
While the specific model that will be launched on Monday in India is not known, it is expected to be the M1 Note as the firm has been teasing the launch of the phablet for quite sometime. Moreover, it is known that the Meizu M1 Note will be the first device that the firm will launch in India.
As of now, there is no information on the possible pricing and availability of the Meizu device in India. We will get to know all the details once the device goes official in India early next week.
To refresh on the specifications of the Meizu M1 Note, the device boasts of a 5.5 inch Full HD 1080p display and it is equipped with a 1.7 GHz octa core MediaTek MT6752 processor teamed up with 2 GB of RAM. It packs a 13 MP main snapper at its back with f/2.2 aperture and a 5 MP front facing selfie shooter.
The Meizu M1 Note bundles 16 GB or 32 GB of native storage space and supports connectivity aspects such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE and dual SIM functionality. There is a 3,140 mAh battery pumping enough fuel to the device.
