While Sony, Samsung, HTC and Lenovo have already announced the Lollipop updates for their flagship devices this year, don’t you think it’s time for Meizu to update its devices like the MX4 and MX4 Pro to the latest Android version too?
Well, the Chinese smartphone maker now seems to have taken this into consideration. Meizu seems to be buckled up and started working on its new Flyme OS version based on Android Lollipop since November last year, but till today, the company has not made an official announcement.
Now, Yang Yan, Head of Meizu’s Flyme OS has said that both the phones will receive Android Lollipop by the end of March. However, the exact release date for the update is not known. But MX4 users need not wait too long for their phones to be updated to the latest Android version. The latest OS brings the revamped UI and better battery life on Android phones. The OS’ design is rather flat and pleasing to the eye.
We will let you know as soon as Meizu pushes the Lollipop update to its MX4 and MX4 Pro smartphones.
