The Meizu M5 Note is all set for release next week. From a previous leak of Meizu’s roadmap we had already narrowed it down to December and now we have confirmation that the release date is set for December 6th.
The Meizu M5 note is targeted towards the budget market as can be noted from the modest specifications listed on AnTuTu’s benchmark. It was also rumored that the M5 Note will come in a single 32GB variant with the model number M621Q.
Unfortunately the M5 Note will not ship with Nougat, but with Marshmallow 6.0.1 as shown in the benchmark listing. Talking about Nougat, Flyme OS (Meizu’s custom skin) will see an upgrade with Android Nougat 7.0. Hopefully the update to Nougat for the M5 Note may make it by Q1 of 2017.
